Headless Human is a studio that started with two lads from down under (Australia & New Zealand). Messing around with Unity in a dank University computer lab, Nick and Liam started making imaginative games, albeit with trash art. But passion ensued, and the lads invested in a Wacom drawing tablet and went to work on their first project, named Raw April Day on January, 2020. However, the team was still not complete. Nick was able to draw 2D art, but had difficulty making animation. After seeing Erin’s version of the, “lo-fi hip hop radio - beats to relax/study to” girl on Chilled Cow’s YouTube Channel, Nick asked them to join the team and rip shit up for the animation. And yeah, here we are.
Nicholas Chan - Creative Director/2D Still Art/Dialogue/Script-writer
“Liam and I started Headless Human during our time at the University of Auckland, making shitty games in a computer lab. After university, Liam returned to Australia and I stayed in New Zealand to work as a Digital Technology teacher. We stayed in contact and decided we wanted to continue to make games together. As time progressed, we realized we’d need an artist but didn’t have the money at the time to pay one. So we decided to invest in a digital drawing tablet and I took on the mantle of art, with Liam taking on the responsibilities of programming.
As it happens to be, every waking moment that I don’t teach goes into working on the game, to the point where my friends tell me to shut the f*** up about it. My answer to that is, “NEVER.”

As Liam prefers to remain anonymous, here is a picture of a random guy. He’s got quite a nice smile though, doesn’t he?
